SH 100 — Q&A
How much water do I mix with SH 100?
For manual application, mix approximately 5–6 liters of clean water per 25 kg bag. Mix 2–3 minutes with a drill and spiral paddle (400–600 rpm), let it sit 1–2 minutes, then briefly remix before placement. It can also be applied by plastering machine.
What is the coverage of SH 100?
One 25 kg bag yields 13.5 liters of mortar and covers 1.35 m² at 10 mm thickness.
What thickness can SH 100 be applied at?
Minimum application thickness is 10 mm. For thicknesses above 30 mm, use reinforcement anchored at an adequate distance from the substrate.
How fast does SH 100 gain strength?
Initial set is 30 minutes and final set 60 minutes. Compressive strength reaches 17.2 MPa in 1 day and 42.1 MPa at 28 days.
What is the application temperature range?
Apply between 5 °C and 30 °C. Do not use in strong wind, rain or direct sunlight, or on frozen, dusty or unstable surfaces.
How is it packaged for export?
In 25 kg kraft paper bags — 64 bags (1,600 kg) per plastic-wrapped pallet, and 1,024 bags (25.6 MT) per 20-ft container. Shelf life is 6–12 months unopened, stored cool and dry away from direct sunlight.
